NDA leader in Bihar said, snatching the rights of women will be costly for the opposition

The political turmoil has intensified after the Women’s Reservation Amendment Bill was rejected in the Lok Sabha. The round of allegations and counter-allegations continues between the NDA leaders and the opposition. Meanwhile, NDA leaders in Bihar said that the opposition is an anti-women party and is celebrating its non-passage.

Speaking to news agency IANS, Bihar BJP state president Sanjay Saraogi said, “Congress people, RJD people, SP people, people like Stalin are distributing sweets and celebrating. In time, these people will realize how much their happiness will cost them. Wherever these people come out of their homes, there will be protests against them. Such a big reservation bill, the Prime Minister wanted to get it passed. They will realize in time. Women of India will now only They are not flowers, they are sparks. The opposition will have to face opposition at every step.

On Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi’s comments on PM Modi, Sanjay Saraogi said, “His entire family has still not got over its fascination for Italy. The matter is still in the court and the court has directed to register an FIR. Rahul Gandhi’s language has been described as derogatory and disrespectful towards the country.”

Bihar government minister Ramkripal Yadav said on the Women’s Reservation Bill, “When the Women’s Bill was brought in 2023, everyone had supported it. Congress had also supported it and today when it is the turn to implement women’s reservation, the same people who had supported it are opposing it. Congress is mainly playing a role in it. Taking away women’s rights will be costly for Congress and the opponents.”

On the rejection of the Constitution’s 131st Amendment Bill in the Lok Sabha, JDU leader Rajeev Ranjan Prasad said, “After the failure of the Bill, women across the country are feeling betrayed. When this Bill could not be passed, women were left stunned and speechless. Once again, the anti-women attitude has become evident in the conduct and working style of the Congress, TAC, DMK and other parties of the ‘Indi’ alliance.”

He said that Congress did not take any concrete initiative for women. This was a chance for them to correct their mistakes, but once again they missed it. It is also very clear that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said that everyone should come together to pass this bill. Constitutional amendment required two-thirds majority and in such a situation the cooperation of the opposition was very important.
