This condition can often aggravate problems like Dry Eye Syndrome, in which the moisture in the eyes decreases. If attention is not paid in time, the problem may increase. Today we will tell you some easy and effective tips, which can provide you relief.
remember to blink often
While working while sitting in AC, we pay more attention to the screen and blinking reduces. Due to this the eyes start drying. Blink intentionally every few minutes.
Follow the 20-20-20 rule
Every 20 minutes, look 20 feet away for 20 seconds. This provides relief to the eyes.
Do not let AC air blow directly on your face.
Direct cold air quickly removes moisture from the eyes. Set the air flow slightly higher or in the other direction.
keep eyes hydrated
If necessary, use artificial tears (eye drops) as per doctor’s advice. It maintains moisture in the eyes.
drink more water
Lack of water in the body also increases dryness of eyes. Keep drinking adequate amount of water throughout the day.
Maintain humidity in the room
AC dries the air. If possible, use a humidifier or keep a vessel filled with water in the room.
reduce screen time
The problem increases by working on mobile or computer for a long time. Take breaks in between.
Eye cleaning and care
Washing eyes with cold water 2-3 times a day or applying a cold compress provides relief.
