New Delhi. Bihar’s new Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary will present the trust vote before the cabinet expansion. For this, a one-day special session of Bihar Assembly has been called. Bihar Assembly Secretariat has issued a notification calling the session on April 24. Information in this regard has been given to all the MLAs including the Chief Minister and government ministers. Assembly Director Rajeev Kumar has requested all the members to be present in the House on April 24 at 11 am. Since NDA members have majority in the Assembly, Samrat Chaudhary will not face any problem in getting the trust vote.

On the other hand, Nitish Kumar has met CM Samrat Chaudhary today. Nitish had reached the Emperor’s residence at 5 Deshratna Marg in Patna to meet him. This is the second meeting of the two leaders after Samrat Chaudhary became the CM. Along with Nitish, the new Deputy CM of Bihar and senior JDU leader Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, considered very close to him, were also with him. Let us tell you that some time ago Nitish Kumar expressed his desire to go to Rajya Sabha. After this, he became a member of the Upper House of Parliament by winning the Rajya Sabha elections.

After assuming membership of Rajya Sabha, Nitish Kumar resigned from the post of Chief Minister on April 14. After this, Emperor Choudhary was sworn in on 15 April. Along with Samrat Chaudhary, Vijay Kumar Chaudhary and Bijendra Prasad Yadav also took oath. Both of them have been made Deputy Chief Ministers. With the swearing in of Samrat Chaudhary, the form of government in Bihar has also changed. Earlier, when Nitish Kumar was the CM, both the Deputy CMs were from BJP. Now, when the post of CM is with BJP, JDU leaders are holding both the posts of Deputy CM.
