Abbas returns to Pakistan team for Bangladesh tour, Sarfaraz becomes head coach
Karachi: 36-year-old fast bowler Mohammad Abbas has returned to the Pakistan team for next month’s Bangladesh tour, while four new faces have also got a place in the team for the two-Test series. Pakistan Cricket Board has appointed former Test captain Sarfaraz Ahmed as the new head coach of the Test team. The new faces in the team include batsman Abdullah Fazal, Azaan Awais, all-rounder Amad Butt and wicketkeeper Ghazi Ghori. Spinners Asif Afridi and Abrar Ahmed, opener Abdullah Shafiq, batsman Kamran Ghulam and wicketkeeper Rohail Nazir have not got a place in the team. The first Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh will be played from May 8 to 12 and the second from May 16 to 20.
