For how long was Ayush Mhatre out?

Mhatre’s injury is not as serious as initially feared, and the batsman is not feeling any pain at the moment. However, the exact severity of the injury will be known only after the test to be conducted on Monday. His ability to walk without pain gives hope that he can make a comeback in the later stages of the tournament.

Batting coach gave clarification

It is noteworthy that after the match, CSK batting coach Mike Hussey confirmed the seriousness of the injury and said that the scan will reveal how deep the injury is. Hussey also said at the press conference, "Obviously, it’s a hamstring strain. I don’t know how serious it is. I’m pretty sure we’ll probably get him scanned tomorrow or the day after. Unfortunately it looks pretty bad. And it will be a huge loss for us, because he was in very good form for us."
