He was cycling through the rural areas of India when an elderly villager called him to his house and invited him to drink buttermilk.

Evans shared this entire incident on his Instagram account @findingduncan. It can be seen in the video that he was passing through the fields when a local man stopped him and very cordially asked him to go to his home. He happily accepted this sudden invitation.

Affection, respect and welcome will be memorable

On reaching the village, he was made to sit on a traditional cot and within some time the host brought buttermilk. Evans described the experience as very special, saying that not only was the drink delicious, but the warmth and respect with which he was welcomed was memorable.
