Arshad Warsi has offered an inside glimpse into his children’s career paths, drawing parallels with other star kids.
The actor, widely known for his role as Circuit in Munna Bhai M.B.B.S., shared that both of his children are interested in acting, but he doesn’t fully support their decision as the success rate in the industry has dropped significantly.
In an exclusive interview with the Times of Indiahe said, “Yes, both my son and daughter want to act. My son is currently assisting Siddharth Anand and has assisted Raju Hirani. Of course, I’m scared it is a tough job today. Acting is not an easy profession anymore as the success rate is so low. Out of 150 crore, only a handful become actors.”
He added that success ultimately comes down to hard work and determination, despite widespread rumours about industry connections. He also noted that star kids face pressure to perform better in order to live up to their parents’ already-established names in the industry.
He said, “Star kids of people like Shah Rukh Khan or Hrithik Roshan face a different kind of pressure they have to be bigger. My kids don’t have that. They just need to be good actors.”
On the professional front, the actor is currently gearing up for films including Welcome to the Jungle and Finish 4alongside Shah Rukh Khan’s King.
