Talking about Delhi-NCR, the heat here has troubled people in the last one week itself. While till a few days ago there was relief from the heat due to rain, now people are getting troubled by the heat. The Meteorological Department has warned of clear skies and bright sunshine for the next two days. Along with this, the maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to reach 41 degrees today.

UP-Bihar weather
Heat continues to wreak havoc in Uttar Pradesh too. Heat wave alert has been issued in many districts of eastern Uttar Pradesh today. The districts of Uttar Pradesh where heat wave has been predicted include Varanasi, Bhadohi, Mirzapur, Jaunpur, Deoria, Gorakhpur.
Talking about Bihar, the temperature is continuously increasing in Bihar also. Last week, due to western disturbance, there was light rain at many places in the state due to which the temperature dropped, but now the weather is likely to remain clear. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be scorching sun and hot winds this afternoon, which will increase the risk of heatstroke. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for the eastern parts of Bihar, especially the areas.
weather in hill states
There is a possibility of light to moderate rain or snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh even today. However, it is not expected to have much impact on the temperature. Along with this, strong winds can blow at a speed of kilometers per hour.
The weather is likely to remain clear and dry in Himachal Pradesh also. There will be sunshine in the plains and central mountainous areas and a slight increase in temperature may be recorded. However, there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in some high altitude areas. The sky will be cloudy in these areas but no major change will be seen in the weather.
Talking about the other hilly state Uttarakhand, there may be rain in some high altitude districts today. The districts where there is a possibility of rain and snowfall include Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli and Pithoragarh. However, the weather will remain clear in the plains.
Weather of other states
Talking about other states, there is a possibility of heat wave in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Maharashtra today. The Meteorological Department has advised people in these states to take measures to avoid heat. Along with this, advice has also been given not to leave the house unnecessarily during the day.

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert regarding this. There is a possibility of rain in Assam and Meghalaya also. The temperature is also continuously increasing in the states of South India. However, there is a possibility of rain and storm in some parts of some states today. The Meteorological Department has predicted light rain, storm and lightning in some parts of Karnataka.
