Two accused who incited violence in Noida labor movement arrested, links related to mastermind exposed

Central Noida, 20 April. In a major action, the Central Noida Phase-II police station of Gautam Buddha Nagar district zone of Uttar Pradesh has arrested two other accused involved in the violent protests during the labor movement. The arrested accused have been identified as Himanshu Thakur and Satyam Verma. Police informed about the arrests late at night. He said that during the workers’ protest, both the accused were actively involved in instigating the crowd and inciting violence.

After the incident, a case was registered under relevant sections at Face Do police station, on the basis of which special teams were formed to arrest the accused. According to the police, both of them are active members of Vigul Mazdoor Dasta (Laborer Bugle Squad). During the labor protests, he played an important role in instigating violence and carrying out incidents.

Himanshu Thakur is a resident of Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand. He currently lives in Shalimar Bagh area of ​​Delhi. Satyam Verma is a resident of Nishatganj area of ​​Lucknow. The police team searched for them using electronic surveillance, technical evidence and other means. On 19 April 2026, Himanshu Thakur was arrested from Delhi. Satyam Verma was caught from Police Station Phase-2 after interrogation.

Police investigation revealed that Himanshu Thakur was present in Noida on the day of the violence. He was in constant touch with the main accused and Aditya Anand, who carried a reward of Rs 1 lakh. Police believe that both of them helped organize the violent incidents. A case had already been registered in connection with these incidents in Police Station Phase-2. Interrogation of the arrested accused is going on and further legal action is being taken against them.

The police have so far registered a total of 13 FIRs in the entire case of Noida labor violence. Of these, 65 people have been arrested. The main accused Aditya Anand has also already been arrested. The team is working continuously on the strict instructions of Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh. Police say that there may be an organized conspiracy behind the violence, which is being investigated in depth.
