‘Bhoot Bangla’ shows strength in first weekend, earns Rs 58 crore in three days

Akshay Kumar and director Priyadarshan’s much talked about horror-comedy film ‘Bhoot Bangla’ has made a great start at the box office. This hit pair, who returned to the big screen after 14 years, is getting a lot of love from the audience. By doing a business of Rs 58 crore in the first three days, the film has proved that the audience still likes the comic timing of Akshay and Priyadarshan.

The film opened its account with Rs 12.25 crore on the first day, while its earnings increased to Rs 19 crore on the second day. According to the report of Sacknilk, on Sunday the film flew higher and made a business of Rs 23 crores.

It is clear from the continuously increasing earnings that the film is getting a big benefit from positive word of mouth and its pace may increase further in the coming days.

The story of the film revolves around a character named Arjun, who arrives from London to a village in India and gets entangled in incidents related to a mysterious palace. The film also stars Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav and Vamika Gabbi in important roles.

On the other hand, Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar 2’ remains strong even in the fifth week and has crossed the Rs 1,115 crore mark at the domestic box office with a earning of Rs 4.60 crore on the 32nd day.
