Tilak’s century and Ashwani’s 4 wickets in Ahmedabad, GT got bowled out for 100 runs, Mumbai registered a big win by 99 runs.

GT vs MI 30th Match IPL 2026 Highlight: In IPL 2026, the 30th match of this season was played between Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians. Gujarat captain Shubman Gill won the toss and decided to bowl at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Mumbai Indians set a target of 200 runs for GT thanks to Tilak Verma’s brilliant century. In response, Gujarat Titans were all out for 100 runs in 15.5 overs. Accordingly, in this match, Mumbai defeated Gujarat Titans by 99 runs and achieved its second big win of this season. The biggest heroes of Mumbai Indians’ victory in the match were Tilak Verma and Ashwani Kumar in bowling.

During the innings of Mumbai Indians, three wickets fell at the score of 44 runs inside the powerplay, due to which the team came under pressure. In such difficult circumstances, Tilak Verma took charge and changed the course of the match with his powerful batting. He scored a brilliant century in just 45 balls at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Tilak Verma played an unbeaten inning of 101 runs with a brilliant strike rate of 224, in which he hit 8 fours and 7 sixes. In his innings, 74 runs came only from boundaries, which shows his aggressive batting. The special thing was that he thrashed the Gujarat bowlers in the last overs and took the team to a strong score. His batting changed the atmosphere of the entire stadium.

Scored 26 runs in one over

Tilak Verma’s bat looked even more dangerous in the death overs. Between the 16th and 20th overs, he scored 65 runs in just 18 balls. In the 18th over, he targeted Ashok Sharma and scored 26 runs in a single over. This over started with a six, after which it rained consecutive fours and then sixes. Although the last ball was a dot, but by then the bowler was under complete pressure.

Apart from Tilak Verma, Naman Dheer also played an important role and scored 45 runs on 32 balls. Captain Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav contributed 15 runs each. Although the rest of the batsmen could not play big innings, but on the basis of Tilak’s brilliant innings the team was successful in reaching 199.

Gujarat Titans bowling

Kagiso Rabada was the most successful bowler for Gujarat Titans, taking 3 wickets. Whereas Mohammad Siraj and Prasidh Krishna got 1-1 wicket. The bowlers prevented Mumbai from crossing 200 by taking wickets in between.

Gujarat batsmen were flop

The big batsmen of Gujarat Titans, who came to chase the score given by Mumbai Indians, performed disappointingly. Within two overs, Gujarat lost the wickets of two big batsmen in the form of Sai Sudarshan and Jos Buttler. After this the match gradually started coming under the control of Mumbai Indians. Washington Sundar played the highest innings of 26 runs for the team. Apart from this, Shahrukh Khan was out after scoring 17 runs, captain Shubhman Gill after scoring 14 runs and Kagiso Rabada after scoring 12 runs.

Ashwani Kumar bowled excellently

The way Tilak Verma performed brilliantly in batting. Similarly, in bowling, Ashwani Kumar worked to break the back of Gujarat’s batsmen. He made four Gujarat batsmen his victims in the form of captain Shubhman Gill, Rahul Tewatia, Shahrukh Khan and Rashid Khan. Apart from this, M. Ghazanfar and Mitchell Santner took 2-2 wickets. At the same time, Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya took 1 wicket each in the first and second overs.
