Heat Wave: Severe heat wave and weather warning across the country, weather will change in 13 states
Monsoon Alert : New Delhi : At present there is great uncertainty in the country’s weather and according to experts, the simultaneous activation of five cyclones has completely changed the weather pattern. While the plains are reeling from intense heat and heatwaves, northeast India and the hilly regions are witnessing rain and snowfall. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a dual warning of heat wave and rain in various parts of the country for the next 24 hours. (Heat Wave)
The Meteorological Department has forecast rain in 13 states including Bihar, West Bengal and Jammu and Kashmir in the next 24 hours. Strong winds are likely to blow at a speed of 30 to 50 km per hour during this period. Moderate to moderate rain and thundershowers have been issued during April 19 to 22 in north-eastern states like Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur and Nagaland. Besides, light rain is also likely over parts of Madhya Maharashtra, Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Kerala. North-eastern districts of Bihar like Supaul, Araria and Kishanganj are also likely to experience lightning.

Heat wave of 45 degrees in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan
Heat wave has intensified in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. A severe heatwave warning has been issued for districts like Varanasi, Prayagraj, Mirzapur and Gorakhpur in eastern Uttar Pradesh on April 19 and 20, with temperatures likely to reach record levels. In Rajasthan too, the temperature is likely to reach 42 to 45 degrees Celsius, with Bikaner and Jaisalmer being the most affected. Districts like Palamu and Chhatra in Jharkhand have also been warned of intense heat and heat wave for the next two days.

Dark clouds lurk in Delhi-NCR
Capital Delhi and its surrounding areas (Noida, Ghaziabad and Gurugram) will experience a reduction in heat from the sun’s rays today due to cloud movement. However, due to the increased humidity after the rains, the atmosphere has become humid. The maximum temperature in Delhi today is likely to be between 39°C and 41°C, which is above normal. According to the Meteorological Department, from April 22, when the sky becomes completely clear, the sunshine will intensify and the chances of heat wave will increase.
