Chasing the target of 156 runs given by Rajasthan Royals, KKR were reduced to 85 runs for 6 wickets, both captain Rahane and Tim Seifert failed to open the account. Although Rinku Singh’s half-century helped Kolkata win the losing match, Rahane also made an embarrassing record in this match.
Kolkata Knight Riders captain Ajinkya Rahane has become the opening batsman with the most number of zero dismissals in the history of IPL. Rahane has been out 12 times till now. In the previous match, he had equaled Parthiv Patel, who was out 11 times as an opener.
