New structure ready in Nitish Kumar’s party, son Nishant’s name not included
Knews Desk-Janata Dal United (JDU) has released the list of its new national executive, in which many important changes have been seen from the top leadership of the party to the organizational structure. In this new list, while Nitish Kumar’s post as party president has been retained, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Jha has been given the responsibility of National Working President. The most important thing is that the name of Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant Kumar has not been included in this list, due to which many discussions have started in the political circles.
The party selected many senior leaders in the new list
According to the released notification, Nitish Kumar will remain the national president of the party, while the responsibility of running the organization will now be in the hands of Sanjay Jha. He has once again been made the National Working President. Sanjay Jha has been known to hold strategic and organizational roles in the party for a long time, and his appointment also reflects his growing influence within the JDU. In the new list, the party has assigned important responsibilities to many senior leaders. 12 leaders have been made general secretaries, which include names like Manish Kumar Verma, Afaq Ahmed Khan, Shyam Rajak, Ashok Chaudhary, Ramesh Singh Kushwaha, Ramsevak Singh, Kahkshan Praveen, Kapil Harishchandra Patil, Raj Singh Mann, Engineer Sunil Kumar, Harshvardhan Singh and Maulana Ghulam Rasool Baliyavi. This list indicates that the party has given priority to experienced and diverse leadership to strengthen the organization.
Towards making the organizational structure simpler and more centralized
Another major change has been seen in this new executive. Earlier there were three national vice presidents in the party, now this number has been reduced to only one. Former Jehanabad MP Chandeshwar Prasad Chandravanshi has been appointed the sole national vice president of the party. This change is being considered as a step towards making the organizational structure simpler and more centralized. Apart from this, Ramesh Singh Kushwaha has been made the General Secretary in place of Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha, due to which new faces have also been given a chance in the organization. This change within the party is being considered strategically important in view of the upcoming elections.
However, what is being discussed the most is that the name of Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant Kumar is not included in this list. In recent times, there was speculation about the arrival of Nishant Kumar and it was believed that he might get some responsibility in the organization. But the absence of his name in the new list is giving rise to many political questions. Political analysts believe that this decision could be a part of the party’s internal strategy, in which at present priority has been given to organizational balance and experienced leadership. At the same time, some people are also taking it as a sign that the party wants to maintain distance from family politics.
After the release of the list, the discussion among party workers has also intensified. Some workers believe that this team will strengthen the organization and benefit the party in the coming elections. At the same time, some people also believe that it will be a challenge for the party to create a balance between new faces and old leaders. The new executive of JDU has made major changes at the organizational level. Under the leadership of Nitish Kumar, while the party has given key responsibilities to experienced leaders, the absence of some famous names has sparked a new debate in political circles. In the times to come, it will be interesting to see how much impact this new team has on the party’s strategy and electoral performance.
