Rajasthan Royals had a fast start. Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Yashasvi Jaiswal scored runs aggressively, but in the third over, Mohammed Shami gave the first blow by dismissing Yashasvi Jaiswal (22). In the same over, Dhruv Jurel returned to the pavilion without opening the account. After this, Vaibhav Suryavanshi also could not last long and became the victim of Mohsin Khan. After the fall of the initial wicket, captain Riyan Parag tried to control the innings by scoring 20 runs. In the end, Ravindra Jadeja batted responsibly and scored unbeaten 43 runs and took the team’s score to 159 in 20 overs.
Lucknow’s batting was a complete flop
Lucknow Super Giants, who set out to chase the target of 160 runs, had a very bad start. Ayush Badoni was run out in the very first over. After this, captain Rishabh Pant and Aiden Markram also returned to the pavilion without opening their account. The dismissal of three top order batsmen on zero proved to be the biggest blow for the team.

After the initial setbacks, Mitchell Marsh played a brilliant innings and scored 55 runs in 41 balls, which included 6 fours and 2 sixes. Apart from them, Nicholas Puran scored 22 runs and Himmat Singh scored 15 runs, but other batsmen could not do anything special. The entire team was reduced to 119 runs in 18 overs.
Dominance of Rajasthan bowlers
For Rajasthan Royals, Joffra Archer bowled brilliantly and took 3 wickets. Nandre Berger and Brajesh Sharma took 2-2 wickets. Whereas, Ravindra Jadeja and Ravi Bishnoi got 1 success each. For Lucknow, Mohammed Shami, Prince Yadav and Mohsin Khan took 2 wickets each, but the poor performance of the batsmen could not save the team from defeat.
