New Delhi: Iran’s security forces have killed dozens of terrorists who had infiltrated from the Pakistan border. This incident took place in Rask area of Sistan-Baluchistan province of Iran, where terrorists from Pakistan had entered. Due to this action the tension between the two neighboring countries has suddenly increased.

Iranian security forces destroyed an entire operational team of the terrorist group named Jaish al-Adl. According to the government media report, these terrorists were crossing the open border of Pakistan and entering the Rask area. The Iranian army took immediate action and killed them.
During the operation, a large quantity of arms and ammunition were also recovered from the terrorists. This incident happened at a time when both the countries were preparing for talks. Now suddenly the security alert on the border has been increased.
Who is Jaish al-Adl?
Jaish al-Adl is a Baloch Sunni terrorist organization, which was established in around 2012. In Arabic it means ‘Army of Justice’. This organization is believed to be made up of members of the earlier active Jandullah group.
This group describes itself as fighting for the rights of Iran’s Sunni Baloch community. Its main objectives are to gain greater political and economic rights in the Sistan-Baluchistan region and to fight against alleged discrimination against the Baloch people, but Iran and many other countries consider it a terrorist organization.

It has been attacking Iranian police and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) targets. There have been many clashes between security forces and this organization in Rask area.
Iran alleges that this organization spreads instability in the south-eastern parts of the country and targets security forces. The activities of the organization have been going on for years, due to which there is constant tension in the area.
