UP’s green transport model shines on national stage: Strong presentation in Green Transport Conclave, UP’s vision appreciated

Lucknow, Read: Uttar Pradesh registered its strong presence at the national level by making an impressive presentation of green, modern and technology-based transport models in the Green Transport Conclave held in New Delhi. Uttar Pradesh State Transformation Commission (STC) Chief Executive Officer Manoj Kumar Singh detailed the state’s vision of sustainable mobility, strong logistics network and future-oriented infrastructure.

Policy-makers, industry representatives and experts from across the country participated in this two-day conclave organized by the Indian Federation of Green Energy. The program was inaugurated by Nitin Gadkari. In his address, Manoj Kumar Singh said that Uttar Pradesh is setting new standards through green transportation, clean energy based mobility and modern logistics network. He said that the expressway network has expanded rapidly in the state, in which projects like Purvanchal, Bundelkhand, Ganga and Agra-Lucknow Expressway are strengthening the connectivity.

He said that the state government is promoting multi-modal connectivity, electric mobility, e-buses and charging infrastructure. Special attention is also being given to alternative fuels like ethanol, biogas and compressed biogas (CBG). Referring to modern technologies, he said that initiatives like Artificial Intelligence, Smart Traffic Management, Digital Tolling and Real-Time Monitoring will give new direction to future mobility.

He stressed that green transportation, efficient logistics and sustainable infrastructure will play a vital role in achieving the goal of ‘Vikas Uttar Pradesh-2047’ and trillion dollar economy. This presentation received wide appreciation on the national platform, due to which the development model and investment prospects of Uttar Pradesh have emerged stronger.

Green Transport Vision of UP

Uttar Pradesh’s focus is on developing clean energy based transportation system. This includes promoting electric vehicles, expanding charging networks and making public transport environmentally friendly. Also, work is being done to connect road, rail and waterways through multi-modal connectivity. By strengthening the logistics network, goods transportation is becoming faster and economical. This model will not only help in environmental protection but will also accelerate economic development and make the state attractive for global investment.
