The sailors who took PM Modi on a boat narrated their experience, said – a moment like a dream, gave a message to stay together

Kolkata. During Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s boating trip in the Hooghly river on Friday morning, sailors and boat owners have described the experience as a memorable and emotional moment. He said that he was not aware till the last moment that the Prime Minister of the country was going to board his boat.

Sailor Gaurang Biswas, who took Prime Minister Modi boating in the river Ganga, said that he could not believe that the Prime Minister of the country would sit on his boat. He told that the Prime Minister himself took photographs with his camera during the journey and on his instructions the boat was taken to the middle course of the Ganga.

Gaurang Biswas said that the Prime Minister asked his name only once and kept calmly enjoying the surrounding scenery. He said that he is very happy and this experience is no less than a dream for him.

At the same time, boat owner Mohammad Iftikhar Ahmed, who provided the boat for the Prime Minister’s visit, also informed about the entire incident. He told that in the morning a person working here asked for seven boats from him. When he asked if the boat was needed for a particular person, he was told it was no big deal.

He said that after this all the boats were made ready at the ghat. About five minutes before Prime Minister Modi’s arrival, he was told that the Prime Minister of the country was about to arrive. After the morning walk, the Prime Minister reached the ghat and boarded his boat. Mohammad Iftikhar Ahmed said that while talking to the sailors, the Prime Minister said that all people should live in mutual harmony and brotherhood.

It is noteworthy that amidst the election atmosphere of West Bengal, Prime Minister Modi reached the banks of river Ganga in Kolkata on Friday morning, where he went boating, met people and expressed reverence for Mother Ganga. Pictures and videos of the Prime Minister’s visit are becoming increasingly viral on social media.
