Jharkhand Board Matriculation Exam 2026 result released, 95.27 percent students successful
Ranchi, Jharkhand:- Jharkhand Academic Council has released the result of Matriculation Exam 2026. This year, a total of 4,22,109 students appeared in the examination, out of which 4,02,178 candidates have been declared successful. Thus, this time the total pass percentage was 95.27 percent, which is considered better than previous years. As soon as the results were declared, an atmosphere of excitement was seen among students, parents and schools across the state.
■ Maximum number of students achieved success in first division:
According to the data released by Jharkhand Board, this year maximum number of students have achieved success in first class. A total of 2,26,957 students secured first division. Whereas 1,60,673 students were successful in second division, while 14,548 candidates got third division. This time the exam results show the better performance of the students. The overall pass percentage of 95.27 percent indicates that the standard of education in the state is continuously improving.
■ Result released without prior notice:
There was no prior information among the students regarding the matriculation examination results. In such a situation, as soon as the results were declared, there was a stir on social media, school campuses and cyber cafes. Students gathered on the online portal to know their results.
■ Four students shared first place in the state:
This time there was a close contest in the merit list. Four students from the state jointly stood first by scoring 99.60 percent marks. The list of state toppers includes Sunny Kumar Verma of St. Aloysius High School, Ranchi, Priyanshu Kumari of Indira Gandhi Girls High School, Hazaribagh, Shivangi Kumari of SS High School, Simdega and Prem Kumar Sahu of Premchand High School, Mesra. With their hard work and dedication, these students have brought glory not only to their school but also to the entire state.
■ Second and third positions also occupied by many students:
Four students stood second with 99.20 percent marks. These include Divyanshu and Khilesh of St. Patrick’s High School, Gumla, and two students of Indira Gandhi Girls’ High School, Hazaribagh. Four students secured third position by securing 98.80 percent marks. These include Mahtab Ansari of St. John’s High School, Navatand, Preet Raj of Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir Ormanjhi, and Ameesha Kumari and Deepti Rani of Indira Gandhi Girls’ High School, Hazaribagh.
■ Hazaribagh school becomes center of discussion:
The brilliant performance of the students of Indira Gandhi Girls High School, Hazaribagh has attracted the attention of the entire state. This school has become the center of discussion due to the inclusion of many girl students from the same school in the merit list. The state government, education department and school management have congratulated the successful students and wished them a bright future.
