BMW Motorrad has launched their new F 450 GS in India. The company has launched this bike at a price of Rs 4.70 lakh (ex-showroom). The company has expanded its popular and renowned GS Adventure series with the new BMW F 450 GS as an affordable option. This bike is designed as a limited adventure bike. It will be a good choice for off-roading and everyday use and cheaper than other models.

How is the design of the BMW F 450 GS?
The BMW F 450 GS features the company’s popular GS design. This gives the bike a strong and unique look. The front side of the bike has an X-shaped full LED headlight. Also, its unique beak and body panels give it an adventure bike look. The rear of the bike has been slimmed down and it houses a 14-litre fuel tank. Engine and Performance
The BMW F 450 GS is powered by a new 450cc twin-cylinder engine. This engine produces 48hp of power and 43Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Also, special technology has been used for smooth riding. BMW F 450 GS has a top speed of 165 kmph. The company has given it Shift Assistant Pro, which allows gear changes without a clutch, along with ERC. This feature makes riding the bike easier at low speeds and also reduces rider fatigue.
Frame and Suspension
The BMW F 450 GS is built on a tubular steel frame. Which strikes a balance between strength and light weight. It features upside-down forks at the front and adjustable monoshock suspension at the rear. For braking, it features a single disc with 4-piston calipers at the front and a disc brake at the rear, which comes with ABS Pro support. For better off-roading, it gets 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, fitted with dual-purpose tires. The seat height of this bike is 845mm, wheelbase is 1465mm and ground clearance is 220mm.
