PM Modi and Trump may meet this month… Both the leaders will be in France for G7 summit

Tezzbuzz Desk- Top level diplomacy between America and India seems to be intensifying once again. There is a possibility of a meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump in June. This meeting may take place during the G7 summit to be held in France, in which both the leaders will arrive to participate.

According to sources, preparations have intensified at the level of both the countries regarding this possible meeting. An agreement can also be reached on bilateral talks between Modi and Trump during the G7 conference, in which many strategic issues are expected to be discussed.

Before this high-profile meeting, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will visit India in May. His visit is being considered very important for deciding the outline of this possible meeting. The agenda and priorities between the two countries will be finalized in the meetings to be held in Delhi.

There has been continuous contact between the two leaders in the last few months. The last time they met face-to-face was in February 2025, although talks have continued through phone and other means.

Recently, President Trump described Prime Minister Modi as his “friend” and said that there were very positive talks between the two regarding West Asia and regional security. He also praised Modi’s leadership abilities.

The possible meeting of Modi and Trump is being considered an important step for India-US relations. There can be important discussions on issues like defense cooperation, maritime security and global stability.

Now everyone’s eyes are on this possible meeting to be held in June, which can decide the direction of the relations between the two countries.
