Great performance of ‘Bhoot Bangla’ continues, earned Rs 12.50 crore on Sunday
At present, an interesting competition is being seen in theaters between films of different genres. While Akshay Kumar’s horror-comedy ‘Bhoot Bangla’ is entertaining the audience, Avinash Tiwari’s ‘Ginny Weds Sunny 2’, Michael Jackson’s biopic ‘Michael’ and Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar 2’ are also making their presence felt at the ticket window.
According to box office figures, ‘Bhoot Bangla’ showed a spectacular jump in the second weekend. The film earned Rs 10.75 crore on Saturday, while the figure increased to Rs 12.50 crore on Sunday.
With this, the film has achieved a net collection of Rs 113.40 crore at the domestic box office, entering the Rs 100 crore club. The film is getting good support from the family audience.
Whereas ‘Ginny Weds Sunny 2’ seems to be struggling to attract the audience to the theatres. The film earned only Rs 46 lakh on the third day of its release, taking its total collection to Rs 1.20 crore.
On the other hand, ‘Michael’ maintained its hold and earned Rs 5.50 crore on the third day and its total business in India has reached Rs 16 crore.
Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar 2’ is still standing strong among these new films. On the 39th day of its release, the film did a business of Rs 3.40 crore, after which its total collection reached Rs 1,130.59 crore. This film, which has been performing brilliantly for many consecutive weeks, still maintains its popularity among the audience.
