Trump gets angry at comedian Jimmy Kimmel, demands his firing, comments on Melania create ruckus

Washington, April 28. US President Donald Trump has demanded media giants Disney and ABC networks to fire their popular late-night host and comedian Jimmy Kimmel with immediate effect. The controversy began after Kimmel made a controversial comment about First Lady Melania Trump during his show. Jimmy Kimmel, while referring to Melania Trump in his show, called her ‘Expectant Widow’.

The President and his family considered this comment extremely insulting and out of line. President Donald Trump lodged a strong protest on his social media platform ‘Truth Social’, writing, “I generally do not pay attention to what Jimmy Kimmel says, but this comment has crossed the limit. Jimmy Kimmel should be immediately fired from Disney and ABC.”

The First Lady also broke her silence and shared a post on Twitter. He called Kimmel’s words “hateful and violent.” Melania wrote, “People like Jimmy should not have the opportunity to enter our homes every evening and spread hatred. His words are poisonous.”

The development comes just ahead of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, where light-hearted banter usually takes place between political figures and the media. However, comments like ‘expectant widow’ have turned this joke into a personal attack. At present, there has been no official statement from Disney and ABC on this demand, but a debate has erupted on this issue on social media.
