Amid US-Iran war, objectionable poster regarding Pakistan goes viral in Doda, FIR registered, police engaged in investigation

Amidst the ongoing war between America and Iran, an objectionable poster regarding Pakistan’s mediation has surfaced from Doda, Jammu, which has set the security agencies on edge. After the poster went viral on social media, Doda police reached the location through geo-tagging, but neither the poster nor the person who posted it was found on the spot. According to the police, this could be an AI generated video, although investigation into the matter is ongoing.

DSP’s statement, FIR registered

Issuing a statement in this matter, DSP Krishna of Doda Police said that the investigation is going on and the entire matter is being closely watched. The police have registered an FIR in this matter. According to officials, the objectionable things written in the poster could spoil the atmosphere, hence investigation is necessary. At present, the police is also investigating whether the video was made at the actual location or was created through AI.

Viral poster on social media, appeal to people

Police have appealed to people not to share such content too much and avoid rumours. The viral poster is being said to be released in the name of ‘Jammu-Kashmir Youth Movement’, in which, while mentioning Pakistan and Field Marshal Asim Munir, it has been congratulated for the mediation between America and Iran.

Security operations intensified in Chenab Valley

At the same time, major operations of security forces are going on in Doda, Kishtwar and Bhaderwah areas of Chenab region. Security forces have inputs about the presence of terrorists in this area. In the last few months, more than half a dozen terrorists have been killed, while the search for the rest is ongoing. The police have reactivated the Village Defense Guards in the area and have also given them new weapons, so that terrorism can be completely eliminated from this area.
