Kapil Mishra said, if Bapu had been there, he would have chased Kejriwal with a stick!
Delhi Government Cabinet Minister Kapil Mishra has launched a scathing attack on AAP party national convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Kapil Mishra wrote in a post on the social media platform ‘X’, “Had Bapu been alive, he would have chased you on the streets of Delhi with sticks. Thieves and corrupt people are also doing the drama of Satyagraha.”
Actually, Arvind Kejriwal had posted on social media platform ‘X’ that he and Manish Sisodia will go to Rajghat at 12 noon on Tuesday to seek blessings of Mahatma Gandhi.
This entire controversy is related to the excise policy matter. Kejriwal has claimed that the hope of getting impartial justice from the bench of Justice Swarnakanta Sharma of Delhi High Court is over. He said that following the voice of his conscience he is now adopting the path of ‘Satyagraha’.
Kejriwal says that when someone does not get justice, then according to the principles of Mahatma Gandhi, Satyagraha is the last option left. Under this, they have decided to boycott the court proceedings and express their views in a peaceful and non-violent manner.
The Aam Aadmi Party chief has also written a letter to Justice Swarnakanta Sharma, in which he has clearly said that neither he himself nor through his lawyers will appear before this bench. In the letter he also said that the hope he had of getting justice has now ended.
On one hand Kejriwal is talking about Gandhian Satyagraha, while on the other hand BJP is calling it ‘drama’ and targeting him with corruption allegations.
