Omar Abdullah On Shivraj Singh Chouhan ‘Mama’: A program to launch new rural development projects was organized at Sher-e-Kashmir International Conference Center (SKICC) in Srinagar on Tuesday. On this occasion, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah praised Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. During the program, the CM described Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan as a well-wisher and true friend of the state. Let us inform that Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated 330 new road projects to be built at a cost of Rs 3,550 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in Srinagar. Under this project, about 1600 km long roads will be built in the state.

Mama’s tag suits – Omar Abdullah

While speaking about Shivraj Singh Chouhan in his address, State CM Omar Abdullah said that when the people of Madhya Pradesh described you as an uncle, then it was not wrong for them to describe you, because if you have done even 50 percent of what you are doing for Jammu and Kashmir for Madhya Pradesh, then the tag of uncle on you suits you perfectly. We too have not only seen you in this style, but have also accepted you. You have left no stone unturned in making this relationship stronger.

There will be transparency in schemes

While addressing the program, CM Omar Abdullah addressed Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan from the stage as uncle, which is going quite viral. The Chief Minister said that the people of Madhya Pradesh call him uncle. Omar Abdullah said that his government will use the funds received for these projects in a proper and transparent manner.

In the program, Union Minister Shivraj Singh said that the Central Government led by Prime Minister Modi is fully committed to the development of Jammu and Kashmir. He also said that it is being ensured that the benefits of these schemes reach the last person.

Got a project worth Rs 8,000 crore

During this, CM Abdullah said that in the last one and a half year, the state has received projects worth about eight thousand crores under PMGSY. Work on these projects will also be started in the coming months. In the speech he assured the people of the state that after being satisfied with the progress of the work, he would approach the central government for approval of more projects.
