BJP’s clean sweep in Gujarat civic elections, capture of all municipal corporations, big blow to Congress-AAP

BJP’s dominance in Ahmedabad

Naynaba Jadeja’s defeat in Rajkot

In Rajkot Municipal Corporation also, BJP performed brilliantly and won 65 out of 72 seats. Congress got only 7 seats, while Aam Aadmi Party could not open its account here either.

The defeat of Congress candidate Naynaba Jadeja from Ward No. 2 made the most headlines. She is the sister of Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja and had contested on a Congress ticket. BJP won this ward.

Along with family relations, political competition was also in discussion in this election, because Rivaba Jadeja is already associated with BJP. In such a situation, there was a lot of discussion about the political competition between sister-in-law and sister-in-law.

BJP’s unilateral victory in Surat

BJP registered almost unilateral victory in Surat Municipal Corporation elections. Out of 120 seats, BJP captured 115 seats. Aam Aadmi Party got only 4 seats, while Congress got only 1 seat.

After this result, Gujarat Education Minister Rivaba Jadeja said that this victory is the result of the hard work of BJP workers and the trust of the public. He said that the public has understood that BJP is the strongest option for development and the credit for this victory goes to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
