India’s secret weapon: China-Pak tremble with the invisible warrior, increased power in the sea

New Delhi. The strength of the Indian Navy has increased rapidly in the last few years, but there are some warships which become a fear for the enemies not only on the basis of strength but also on the basis of technology. One such name is INS Shivalik, which is called the invisible warrior. Its specialty is that despite being present in the sea, it remains almost out of sight of the enemy.

Stealth technology: What makes one ‘invisible’

The biggest strength of INS Shivalik is its stealth technology. Usually warships appear like big targets on radar, but this ship has been designed in such a way that radar waves collide with it and scatter. Its special angular design and special coating makes it an illusion for enemy radar. The result is that even such a large warship can look like a small boat on the radar screen.

Control over temperature and sound

In modern warfare, not only appearance is a danger, but the heat and sound of the ship also become a signal to the enemy. INS Shivalik is fitted with an advanced system that reduces engine heat, making it undetectable by heat-seeking missiles. Apart from this, the engine of the ship has been designed in such a way that its sound is very less audible under water, due to which even enemy submarines are not able to track it easily.

The firepower is also tremendous

INS Shivalik is not only adept in hiding but is also extremely deadly in attacking. Supersonic missiles are deployed in it, which can target enemy ships and bases from a distance. Along with this, it also has the capability of air defense system, rapid firing gun and helicopter operation, which makes it a multi-role warship.

Challenge for China-Pakistan

This warship gives a strategic edge to India amid increasing activities in the Indian Ocean. INS Shivalik is a strong counter to China’s maritime strategy and Pakistan’s submarine strength. This ship is capable of detecting and destroying enemy submarines, thereby further strengthening maritime security.
