New Delhi. After Aam Aadmi Party convenor and former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, now his close aide and former minister Manish Sisodia has also refused to appear in the court of Delhi High Court Justice Swarnkanta Sharma. Manish Sisodia has also written a letter to Justice Sharma and said that now Satyagraha is the only way. Sisodia has given the example of Justice Swarnkanta Sharma’s children being lawyers for the Central Government and said that the future of your children is in the hands of Solicitor General Tushar Mehta.

Manish Sisodia has said in the letter written to Justice Swarnakanta Sharma that I do not expect justice. Earlier, Arvind Kejriwal had also written a letter to Justice Swarnakanta Sharma of Delhi High Court saying that neither he nor any lawyer would appear on his behalf. Arvind Kejriwal had also written that he is free to go to the Supreme Court in this matter. In fact, Arvind Kejriwal had filed a petition in the Delhi High Court asking Justice Swarnkanta Sharma to recuse himself from hearing the liquor scam case. After hearing Kejriwal’s arguments, Justice Sharma had made it clear that she would not step aside from the case. Justice Swarnakanta Sharma had also said that her children do not appear on behalf of the Center in the liquor scam case.

The trial court had refused to take cognizance of the charge sheet in the liquor scam case. Due to which Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and other accused got relief. After this, CBI challenged the decision of the trial court in Delhi High Court. Which has to be heard by Justice Swarnkanta Sharma. Kejriwal has alleged that Justice Sharma participated in RSS programs and his children work under Solicitor General Tushar Mehta. Due to which Kejriwal had expressed the fear of not getting justice.
