Prime Minister Modi’s grand road show in Kashi, did darshan and worship in Kashi Vishwanath temple, Varanasi echoed with slogans of Har Har Mahadev.

Varanasi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple on Wednesday, the second day of his two-day visit to Varanasi. Before this, the Prime Minister conducted a grand road show from Bareka to the temple, in which the entire city was seen colored with enthusiasm and faith.

The Prime Minister’s convoy left Bareka and reached Kashi Vishwanath Dham via Manduwadih, Police Line, Lahurabir, Maidagin and Chowk. Throughout the route, BJP workers and local people welcomed him by showering flowers at various places. Special welcome points were made at six prominent places, where the atmosphere became devotional with drums, conch shells and chants of “Har Har Mahadev”.

A large number of people were seen excited on Police Line Marg to get a glimpse of the Prime Minister from the balconies and windows of their homes. People were waiting for his convoy for about two hours.

On reaching Kashi Vishwanath temple, the Prime Minister performed the ritual darshan and worship amid the blowing of conch shells by 51 Brahmins. An atmosphere of reverence and devotion was also seen in the temple premises. It is noteworthy that after almost a year, Prime Minister Modi has reached Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham. Strict security arrangements were made in the entire city regarding his arrival.
