Preity Zinta mocks ‘scary’ paparazzi culture in pursuit of privacy
Preity Zinta recently shared her thoughts on the ongoing paparazzi culture and emphasised the need for setting boundaries.
The 51-year-old actress, known for her groundbreaking roles in Hindi cinema, called herself a private person in a recent statement.
During her OR Session on Monday, April 27, the Kal Ho Naa Ho star was asked to choose between fame, privacy, and peace of mind.
Responding to the question on X (formerly Twitter), she wrote, “Nothing is a sacrifice. I have learnt to accept things the way they are and manage expectations. Life is a big balancing act for me because I’m a very private person.”
Later, the Veer Zaara actress emphasised setting a boundary with both the public and the media.
Reflecting on the paparazzi culture she added, “Sometimes it’s scary. I’m also human and I need to stay grounded and have my own downtime.”
Meanwhile, Zinta also expressed gratitude towards her fans for giving her unconditional love and affection throughout her career.
On professional front, the heart desires star is currently gearing up for Rajkumar Santoshi’s upcoming project Lahore 1947.
