The Meteorological Center based in Jaipur has issued an alert for Thursday. According to the Centre, there is a possibility of storm with rain, thunder and strong winds in eight districts of the state. Therefore, yellow alert has been issued for these areas. Hail also fell at many places. Large hailstones of the size of gram fell in Baytu area of ​​Barmer district. There was so much hailstorm that the ground turned white, as if a blanket of snow had been spread. Heavy rains along with hailstorms also occurred in Alwar district, due to which the temperature there came down considerably.

How was the weather in Kota?

Kota also received light to heavy rain in the evening and hailstorm was also recorded in some areas. However, despite this change in the weather, heat still persists in some cities of the state. The highest temperature was recorded in Chittorgarh, where the mercury reached 43.4 degrees Celsius. The temperature was 42 degrees in Barmer, 42.6 degrees in Jaisalmer, 41.4 degrees in Bikaner, 41.3 degrees in Kota and Jodhpur. A temperature of 40.4 degrees Celsius was recorded in Ajmer and 40.5 degrees Celsius in Udaipur.

Humidity and heat in Jaipur

It remained humid and hot throughout the day in Jaipur. Due to cloudy sky, both heat and humidity had increased. The maximum temperature of the day reached 41 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature of the night was 28.7 degrees Celsius. Due to clouds, there was more moisture in the air, due to which the weather was feeling very uncomfortable and sticky. The temperature in Udaipur has increased slightly in comparison to the last few days. The maximum temperature here was recorded at 40.5 degrees and the minimum temperature was 25.6 degrees Celsius.

The weather was like this in Jodhpur

It was hot and humid throughout the day in Jodhpur, but suddenly it started raining in the evening. Along with the rain, strong winds also blew. Due to strong wind in Shastri Nagar area, a big tree uprooted and fell on the road, due to which the road was completely closed. However, no person was hurt in this incident nor was there any major loss. The temperature in Sikar fell below 40 degrees after nine days. There was relief here due to rain and storm. Due to the low pressure weather system formed in Shekhawati region, weather activities have increased in this area.

Condition of Ajmer and Alwar

There was severe heat throughout the day in Ajmer, but in the evening dusty winds blew and light rain also occurred. People got a lot of relief from the heat due to the arrival of cold winds. The weather became pleasant after rain and hailstorm in Alwar and Kota. The temperature in Kota has fallen by about 4 degrees Celsius in the last two days. The Meteorological Department estimates that there will be a possibility of storm with continuous rain, thunder and strong winds in some parts of Rajasthan for the next two days. Because of this, further relief is expected from the heat wave (hot air) situation in the entire state.
