Juventus coach Spalletti tells Kelly to be more aggressive: ‘You have to go’
Sunday’s Serie A match between Milan and Juventus saw defences dominate, with the San Siro matchup ending in a goalless draw.
A video published by DAZN shows Spalletti instructing one of his centre-backs, Kelly, to be more aggressive defensively.
Spalletti felt Kelly should have stayed closer to his direct opponent to limit his chances of hurting the Bianconeri.
“You play for 20 meters [far]but you have to go at five meters,” Spalletti said.
“[This way] I can play too.”
Kelly, 27, has been a regular starter at Juventus this season, making 42 appearances across all competitions at the Allianz Stadium.
