Due to mutual dispute, younger brother killed elder brother by crushing him with tractor, accused absconding
Jhunjhunu. In Rasoolpur village of Jhunjhunu district, there was a fight between two brothers over going to their cousin’s house. The dispute escalated so much that the younger brother killed the elder brother by crushing him with a tractor.
The elder brother worked in a company in Delhi and had come home on holidays these days. During the fight, when the cousin tried to stop him, the accused attacked him with a stone.
After committing the murder of elder brother, the accused fled from the spot. The family took the elder brother in critical condition to the government hospital in Buhana where the doctor declared him dead.
Pancherikalan police station officer Banwari Lal said that today at 2 pm, information was received that a young man ran a tractor over his elder brother in Rasoolpur village. He was brought to the private hospital of Pacherikalan in a critical condition from where he was referred to the government hospital of Buhana.
On receiving information, the police team reached Buhana Hospital where the doctor declared him dead. The deceased youth was identified as Anup (35), son of Kanwar Singh, resident of Rasoolpur. Police is busy searching for the accused younger brother.
Krishna Kumar, cousin of deceased Anoop, told that Anoop used to work in an iron company in Delhi. He had come home on holidays only 2 days ago. Anup had gone to his home after having dinner at our house at 12 noon on Thursday.
Ajit got angry over this and started fighting. Anup called me when there was a fight. By the time I reached the spot, Ajit ran the tractor over elder brother Anup.
When I tried to stop, Ajit attacked me with a stone, due to which I got injured on my head. After crushing the elder brother, Ajit fled from the spot.
Krishna Kumar told that Anup was married. His wife had gone to Pehar. Both of them had no children. Anup’s father Kanwar Singh had died of a heart attack some time ago.
Ajit is also married and does farming in the village itself. Whenever Anup came from Delhi, he used to meet his cousins and cousins, Ajit used to be angry about this.
