It was a brilliant job by our bowlers to restrict the opposition to less than 160 on such a wicket. In terms of fielding, we were a bit loose and could not field well on some occasions. However, the energy on the field was overall very good and it was good to see the way the team came back united after the second over.”
Regarding his batting, Gill said that I felt that I was in my rhythm. I had a bit of luck on the first ball, but after that I quickly got into my rhythm. I was absolutely sure that today was my day and I was absolutely ready to face the bowlers.
