Director Mahesh Narayanan’s film Patriotfeaturing a star-studded ensemble cast, is hitting theatres later this Friday. There is much anticipation for the film, as it reunites Mohanlal and Mammootty in prominent roles for the first time after 2008’s Twenty:20directed by Joshiy. The producer of the film, Anto Joseph Productions, plans to release the film in other languages, reportedly in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. There is already a Hindi trailer for the film, in addition to a Telugu teaser.
Mammootty recently played down talks about it being a pan-India release and said that it should first cater to the Kerala audience. The superstar reiterated the message in an Instagram Live conversation with his co-stars Mohanlal and Kunchacko Boban on Thursday. However, he said that the other language versions of the film are likely to hit theatres a week later, because it would take time for the censorship clearance for them.
