Shameful! Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was seen giving a speech in the Assembly under the influence of alcohol?

Opposition parties in Punjab have accused Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann of coming to the assembly in a drunken state. This has created a stir in political circles and videos related to it are going viral on social media. It is alleged that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann addressed the Assembly in an inebriated state. Congress, BJP and Shiromani Akali Dal have united and demanded an investigation against him. Let us tell you that the Chief Minister of Punjab was suffering from alcohol addiction for a long time. He has made claims of giving up this addiction in many public meetings, rallies and interviews.

There was an atmosphere of tension in the Punjab Assembly during the Labor Day special session, with the opposition accusing the Chief Minister of being present in the House under the influence of alcohol. The controversy increased further after this claim of a Congress MLA. Opposition leader Pratap Singh Bajwa further escalated the issue by demanding that all the MLAs be tested with alcohol meters. Bajwa has also written a letter to the Assembly Speaker in this regard, in which he said that all MLAs of both the ruling party and the opposition should be included in the scope of the investigation.

Shiromani Akali Dal also released the video of the assembly and made serious allegations against the Chief Minister and launched a strong attack. The party said that coming to the Assembly in an intoxicated state on Labor Day is extremely shameful. The party appealed to the public to pay attention to the behavior of the Chief Minister and condemned it in strong words. Also demanded a public dope test of Bhagwant Mann to bring out the truth.

Meanwhile, Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal, who left the Aam Aadmi Party and joined the BJP, also demanded an alcohol test of the Chief Minister and his removal from the post if found guilty. Swati Maliwal wrote on Twitter, “Today again Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has reached the temple of democracy, the Punjab Assembly, in a drunken state. This person goes to Gurudwara Sahib drunk, goes to temple drunk, comes to Lok Sabha drunk, goes to government meetings drunk, and drank so much alcohol abroad that he had to be deboarded from the plane.”

He further said that before the elections, he had placed his hand on his mother’s head and promised that he would never drink alcohol. The Chief Minister of a sensitive border state like Punjab is always drunk and signs files in that state. this is so embarrassing. How can a person who abstains from alcohol only while sleeping rule Punjab? He demanded that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann should be tested for alcohol and if found guilty, he should be dismissed from the post.
