So far this year, no big blockbuster film from South has been able to perform well at the box office. Buchi Babu Sana is directing the film and the makers are preparing to release it in June. However, there was confusion regarding the release date for a long time. Earlier it was discussed that the film will hit the theaters on June 25, where it may compete with Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Welcome to the Jungle’. Akhil Akkineni’s ‘Lenin’ was also said to be scheduled for the same time.

Later reports came that the film’s release could be shifted to June 4, as the slot has become vacant due to the postponement of Toxic. But till now no official confirmation has been given by the makers.

Now this suspense is going to be unveiled soon. Recently, Mythri Movie Makers shared a post on social media and wrote, “Get ready for Peddi, exciting updates about the film will start coming from today.” Along with this, it also became clear that a press meet has been organized at 4 pm on May 1, in which the release date of the film will be officially announced.

Ram Charan’s previous film ‘Game Changer’ proved to be a huge flop at the box office. Made with a huge budget of around Rs 450 crore, there were a lot of expectations from this film, especially after a blockbuster like RRR which earned Rs 1200 crore. But the film could not impress the audience.

Now Ram Charan’s entire focus is on ‘Peddi’, which is being considered as a big comeback in his career. Shruti Haasan will be seen with him in the film. The two have worked together before and their on-screen chemistry was loved by the audience.

According to reports, only one song of the film is yet to be shot. Shruti Haasan has been paid a fee of around Rs 3 crore for this song. This song is being considered a big part of the promotion of the film.
