Fatal accident in Uttar Pradesh; A bus carrying 60 passengers overturned, 25 injured

Lucknow : A gruesome near Raghunathpur village in Shahjahanpur’s Allahganj accident done A private bus overturned while trying to overtake the vehicle. This bus was going from Harpalpur to Farrukhabad. This incident happened during that time. There were total 60 passengers in this bus. Out of them 25 passengers have been injured. Eleven of them have been admitted to Lohia Hospital, while others are also undergoing treatment there. It was reported that most of the passengers were going to take a bath in the Ganges at Panchal Ghat on the occasion of Buddha Purnima.

About 60 passengers were boarding a private bus from Harpalpur in Hardoi district. The driver was driving fast. Some passengers asked him to drive properly, but he did not listen. Meanwhile, the bus overturned while trying to overtake a vehicle ahead near Raghunathpur village, causing panic. Police and nearby villagers rescued those trapped inside. Twenty-five passengers were injured. Ambulances took 11 injured passengers to Lohia Hospital. Nine of them were admitted.

Meanwhile, on getting information about this incident, ACMO Dr. Ranjan Gautam, Sadar SDM Rajnikant Pandey and CO Abhay Verma reached Lohia Hospital to inquire about the patients.

The injured were admitted to Lohia Hospital

Nanhi Devi (60) resident of Pandepurwa village in Hardoi, Vishwa Pratap Singh (31) resident of Saluddinpur village in Sawaijpur, Umakant (55) resident of Milargawan, Guddi (55) resident of Mahrepur, Radhika (45), Ramdevi (65), daughter of Pradeep Pal Anushka (8), Ramladate (47) resident of Nandbagh, Jaduveer Singh (60), Gokul Behta Ranjit Singh of Rampur Manpur here and Raju (30) of Amrekha were admitted to Lohia Hospital. He is currently undergoing treatment.

Meanwhile, Rahul, a resident of Mirgwan village and son of the injured Umakant, was admitted to Lohia Hospital. When the bus overturned, his mother’s earrings and six thousand rupees fell down. However, a constable allegedly took his earrings and money while he was being taken out of the bus. However, when Rahul asked for it back, it was not given to him.
