Haridwar Ghat Controversy: A video from Haridwar’s Ganga Ghat is going viral on social media, in which a woman is seen bathing her pet dog on the ghat. Ganga Ghat is considered a religious and sacred place, where thousands of devotees come every day to take bath.

In such a situation, the people present there did not like the issue of bathing the dog on the ghat and the atmosphere soon became tense. It is being told that this incident happened at Shraddhanand Ghat.

Controversy broke out over bathing a dog at Ganga Ghat

At the beginning of the video, a person is heard saying, “Pandit ji had already refused.” After this, some women present there are also heard opposing bathing the dog.

As the debate escalates, a person says, “Will humans or dogs bathe at this ghat?” During this, the woman also gets angry and asks people, “Do you people have manners?” After some time she stops bathing the dog. This entire incident was recorded on camera and is now going viral on social media.

People protested regarding the dignity of the religious place

This video has been shared on social media platform X with an account named Mercedes5494. There have been mixed reactions from people on the video. Some users said that there is nothing wrong in it, while some people protested by linking it to the decorum of a religious place.

One user wrote, “This is better than humans.” While another wrote, “Dog is the vehicle of Lord Shiva.” After the viral video, a new debate has erupted regarding cleanliness, religious beliefs and public behavior on the ghats.
