Womens T20 World Cup 2026: The Indian team has been announced for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026. After winning the 50 over World Cup, Team India will now enter the field with the intention of winning the title in T20 format also. The tournament will start from June 12 while India will play its first match against Pakistan on June 14.
The command of the team will once again be in the hands of Harmanpreet Kaur. This will be her fifth T20 World Cup and this time she will try her best to bring the team the title. Before this, the Indian team has come close to the final many times, but missed out on winning the trophy.
Talking about the batting lineup, players like Smriti Mandhana, Shefali Verma, Gemma Rodrigues and Richa Ghosh are the strength of the team. These players will play an important role in providing a fast start and strengthening the middle order. The responsibility of bowling will mainly be on the shoulders of Deepti Sharma, Renuka Singh Thakur.
