Judge Commits Suicide In Delhi: Judge Aman Kumar committed suicide in Delhi, hanged himself in the bathroom of his house, was posted in Karkardooma Court.


New Delhi. A judge has committed suicide in Safdarjung area of ​​the national capital Delhi. Aman Kumar Sharma, posted as Secretary of District Legal Services Authority in Karkardooma Court, lived in Green Park area. Today he hanged himself in the bathroom of his house. Aman Kumar was around 30 years old. As soon as information about the incident was received, police and forensic teams reached the spot and started investigation. The body has currently been sent for post-mortem. Police are investigating to find out why the judge took such a drastic step.

The forensic team is also collecting some important evidence from Aman Kumar’s house. Police is collecting information about the deceased judge from his family, friends and associates. However, prima facie the police do not find anything suspicious. But the police is investigating keeping all possible aspects in mind. Shivam, brother-in-law of the deceased judge living in Defense Colony, had informed the police regarding the incident. His family members are also shocked by the unexpected death of Aman Kumar Sharma. Aman Kumar joined Delhi Judicial Service on 19 June 2021.

Aman Kumar heard many cases related to criminal and civil matters during his tenure. He also served as first class judicial magistrate and judge in various courts. Since October 2025, he was working as District Legal Services Authority Secretary in Karkardooma Court, Delhi. Amar Kumar was very promising in studies and obtained his law degree from Symbiosis Law School, Pune in the year 2018. After the post-mortem, the body will be taken to his home town Alwar and his last rites will be performed there.
