According to the ECI, they have issued these directions &#8220after considering the cases of serious electoral offenses and obstruction of the democratic process during polling at a large number of polling stations on 29 April 2026 in the 144-Phalta Assembly constituency of West Bengal. The Election Commission has directed that fresh voting will be conducted at all 285 polling stations in Falta Assembly constituency. The Commission said that fresh voting will be held at all polling stations on May 21, 2026 from 7 am to 6 pm. Whereas the counting of votes of Falta Assembly constituency will take place on 24 May 2026. Counting of votes will take place on 293 seats in West Bengal on May 4.

3 people arrested
