Diljit Dosanjh Canada Concert Controversy: Singer Diljit Dosanjh was performing in a concert among a huge crowd of people in Calgary, Canada. Then, from among the crowd, a video taken at the concert showed some pro-Khalistan people waving a flag that symbolizes terrorist organizations that are banned in India under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 (UAPA). This video of the incident is going viral very fast on social media.

As soon as Diljit Dosanjh saw the Khalistani supporters, he stopped. Then he pointed towards the crowd. With a mike in his hand, he asked them to stop the ruckus and take it somewhere else. In the past too, people waving pro-Khalistan flags have tried to disrupt the programs at the singer’s concerts.

Just yesterday, the ‘Canadian Security Intelligence Service’ (CSIS) in one of its reports acknowledged the threat posed by Khalistanis in its country. CSIS’s 2025 report presented in the Canadian Parliament states that the activities of Khalistani elements present in Canada are continuously promoting a violent and extremist agenda.
The report also says that Khalistani extremist (CBKE) groups present in Canada are deeply connected with Canadian citizens. These citizens use Canadian institutions to promote their violent and extremist agenda, and collect donations from unsuspecting members of the public; Later this money is used for violent activities. In recent years, relations between India and Canada had soured, largely due to India’s concerns over Canada’s perceived soft stance towards Khalistani elements.
