Paris Hilton answers if she will ever replace mom Kathy on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Paris Hilton has finally opened up about whether she would ever step into her mother, Kathy Hilton’s, role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. From the looks of it, the 67-year-old won’t be handing the reality TV reins to her daughter anytime soon.

In an exclusive conversation with PEOPLE at the Breakthrough Prize Ceremony held in April in Los Angeles, Paris Hilton ruled out joining the hit Bravo series, at least for the time being.

“My mom is the OG and the queen. She can’t be topped,” the 45-year-old said, before adding, “That show has too much drama for me.”

The entrepreneur further stated that she’s currently “too busy” right now to consider joining the cast.

Notably, Kathy Hilton, after making guest appearances on RHOBH through Season 10, joined Seasons 11 and 12 as a “friend of” the cast. She moved back to guest status for Season 13 before returning as a “friend” for Seasons 14 and 15.

Meanwhile, Paris Hilton is a reality TV veteran in her own right. She rose to fame starring with Nicole Richie on The Simple Life from 2003 to 2007, and the duo reunited in 2024 for Peacock’s Paris & Nicole: The Encore.

She has since headlined two more series: Netflix’s culinary show Cooking with Paris and Peacock’s Paris in Love. The latter gives viewers an inside look at her life with husband Carter Reum as they raise their two children.
