Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins won the toss and decided to bat first and his decision proved to be wrong. Batting first, Hyderabad team could not even play the full 20 overs and were limited to 165 runs. In reply, Kolkata Knight Riders scored 169 runs losing 3 wickets in 18.2 overs and achieved the target easily.
