UP government’s gift: Good news to farmers of 60 districts

Lucknow. Today has brought relief news for the farmers of Uttar Pradesh. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath government has taken a big decision to provide financial assistance to the farmers suffering crop loss. Today crores of rupees are being transferred to the accounts of farmers affected by natural disasters and unseasonal rains.

Farmers will get financial help

The government is giving relief amount to the farmers of 60 districts under the Prime Minister Crop Insurance Scheme. Today a total amount of more than Rs 122 crore will be sent to the bank accounts of farmers. This assistance is being given to compensate for the losses incurred in Kharif 2025 and Rabi 2025-26 seasons.

According to government data, a huge amount has already been released for the Kharif season. Now, out of the remaining amount, about Rs 105 crore will be given to the farmers, while about Rs 17 crore will also be released for the Rabi season, in this way, direct financial relief is being given to the farmers by combining both the seasons.

Programs will be held in the districts

Special programs will be organized on this occasion in all the selected districts of the state. Money will be transferred directly to the accounts of the farmers who had applied under the insurance scheme. This will keep the process fast and transparent.
