BJP will work day and night to bring back the lost glory of Bengal and realize the dream of ‘Sonar Bangla’: Amit Shah

New Delhi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has made several posts on Facebook expressing happiness over the results of West Bengal Assembly Elections. In which he wrote that a huge salute to the people of Bengal, this huge mandate is a befitting reply of the people of Bengal to the patrons of fear, appeasement and infiltrators. This is the victory of ‘trust’ in Prime Minister Narendra Modi over ‘fear’ of TMC. It is a moment of pride for every BJP worker like me that today the saffron flag of BJP is flying proudly everywhere from the origin of Mother Ganga in Gangotri to Gangasagar.

He further wrote that this historic victory of BJP in Bengal is the result of sacrifice, struggle and sacrifice of innumerable of our workers. This is a victory for the patience of those families who did not give up the saffron flag even after enduring violence. I salute all those workers and their families who sacrificed their lives, endured violence, torture and yet did not deviate from the path of ideology in this difficult journey of BJP from zero to reach a strong majority today.

The people of Bengal have paid tribute to all those martyred BJP workers with this overwhelming majority. For this historic victory, I congratulate BJP National President Nitin Naveen, West Bengal BJP State President Samik Bhattacharya, Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Subhendu Adhikari and every worker in every corner of Bengal.

The people of Bengal have taught the infiltrators and their well-wishers a lesson which the parties pursuing appeasement politics will never forget. We will definitely fulfill the hopes and aspirations with which Bengal has expressed its faith in the leadership of Modi ji. BJP will work day and night to restore the lost glory of Bengal, the sacred land of great men like Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Swami Vivekananda, Kaviguru Tagore, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee and to realize the dream of ‘Sonar Bangla’.
