In the world of OTT, creator Karan Anshuman has always presented such stories, which along with entertainment, also raise questions related to society and human thinking. His series ‘Inside Edge’ and ‘Mirzapur’ were greatly appreciated by the audience.

Now Karan is once again in the news with his new project ‘Glory’, in which he is trying to bring out the darker aspects of violence, power and human nature.

Talking about the new series ‘Glory’, Karan Anshuman said, “This is not just a simple story, but such questions have been raised in it, which will force the audience to think. In this, we have used boxing as a symbol, through which the violence hidden within humans and its impact has been shown.”

Karan also expressed his views on ‘Alpha’ thinking. He said, “In real life, ‘Alpha’ is the one who protects his group and takes responsibility for them. Strength does not only mean violence, but responsibility and wisdom are also equally important. A person needs to think above this.”

Karan further said, “The story of ‘Glory’ will give a different experience to the audience. When a person commits violence with the intention of harming someone, his mind also starts changing in the same direction. Violence is not just a momentary incident, but it also affects the nature of a person. This thinking is the main basis of this series.”

He said, “In this series, boxing is not just shown as a sport, but it has been used as a symbol. Through this, an attempt has been made to show how the emotions and struggles going on inside a person come out.”

If we talk about Karan Anshuman’s career, he started direction with the film ‘Bangistan’ in 2015. After this, in 2017 he created ‘Inside Edge’, which was a sports drama series and it also received international appreciation. Apart from this, he also worked as a showrunner in popular series like ‘Mirzapur’.
