Indian Ambassador Kwatra meets Pennsylvania Governor, discussion on strengthening economic ties

Washington. India’s Ambassador to the US Vinay Mohan Kwatra met Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro and discussed ways to further strengthen ties in the economic and technology sectors.

After this meeting held in Harrisburg on Monday, Governor Shapiro posted on ‘X’ and said, “I hope that together we will continue to work to attract more investment, promote talent and create good-paying employment opportunities for the people of Pennsylvania and India.”

The Indian Embassy said in a post on ‘X’ that Kwatra apprised Governor Shapiro about the major changes taking place in infrastructure, digital sector and manufacturing in the rapidly growing Indian economy. Along with this, Quatra expressed his gratitude to the Indian-American community living in Pennsylvania for their strong support to the Governor.
